Ford Group Philippines Achieves a 9% Year-On-Year Sales Increase in 2017
Ford Philippines sold 36,623 vehicles in 2017, most of it from their December sales record of 4,629 units – besting the same month in 2016 by 45%.
Much of this was contributed by their Big 3 nameplates, the Everest, EcoSport and Ranger. One factor that led to a high sales record in December was news of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) known to be implemented this year.
“The Everest, EcoSport, and Ranger continued to drive our retail performance in 2017 and remain among the leaders in their respective, highly competitive vehicle segments. We’re confident that we’ll carry our sales momentum into this year, while further building on our Ford customer and ownership service experience.”
In the meantime, FGP is preparing for more big things, one of which is the launch of the Ranger Raptor early in the near future.
